Job summary There has never been a more exciting time to join East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and we are looking to appoint an outstanding Chief Finance Officer (CFO). This opportunity to join our leadership team comes at a time that has never been more important, as we shape and deliver our strategy and work towards better outcomes for patients. Main duties of the job This wide-ranging strategic role will decisively influence and drive the strategic development of the Trust. Reporting to the Trust Chief Executive and working closely with the Board and the Executive Directors, the CFO will help to formulate strategic planning and decision-making; will be pivotal to the successful achievement of the Trust's strategic objectives and annual budget; and will play a central part in the effective commercial and operational management of the Trust's central financial functions. We are seeking a candidate with an outstanding track record of success at Board level in the NHS or wider public sector, you will possess first class financial leadership and influencing skills with the ability to forge effective working relationships across a wide set of internal and external stakeholders.
