Chief Financial Officer - SMF2, SMF24

Job Description
We are currently working exclusively with a leading banking cooperation who is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer into a newly created role.
This individual will have previously operated at SMF2 AND SMF24 level within a similar bank, and have strong leadership experience managing teams of circa 15+ individuals across finance and treasury and will be a key member of all the core committees within the business including ExCo.
Experience of Project Management, Risk Management and Information
Technology is beneficial and the role has potential to grow into more of a COO role taking on responsibility for technology and operations.
The banks itself has lately past a huge milestone is their growth trajectory and this is a key hire for their future plans.
Main Functions to the role
Oversee the Finance, Treasury & Operations activities.
Ensure the Bank maintains adequate financial resources.
Ensuring that risks are managed within the risk appetite set by the Board.
Co-ordinate business planning process, and oversee and report on the
implementation of strategy in accordance with plans.
Ensure that the Board has been informed of all relevant events, as well
as changes in statutory & regulatory requirements that affect their duties
as directors of the Bank.
Responsible for operational resilience and service delivery across the
Bank’s operations and outsourcing arrangements
Responsible for change management including the oversight and status
reporting for all projects
Ensure that the TCF framework and MI is fully implemented within the
team.
PRA Approved Person SMF 2 & SMF 24.
Senior Accounting Officer for HMRC matters.
