They are currently seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team and drive our financial strategy forward. Job Summary: We are looking for a experienced CFO with a proven track record in the construction sector to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a privately owned business environment and a passion for making this role their own, contributing to the strategic direction and financial health of the company. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives. Oversee all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting immediate operation as well as future growth. Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders. Ensure effective internal controls and risk management strategies are in place. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with other department heads to align financial objectives with operational goals. Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and senior management.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA/CPA is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role within the construction sector. Experience in a privately owned business environment is highly desirable. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities. Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas and the use of power queries. Experience with Power BI and Dashboard creation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
