Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Core3 is thrilled to present an exciting CFO opportunity with a rapidly growing, Private Equity backed marketing agency based in Bristol. £120,000 - £140,000 plus equity & bonus. How You'll Make An Impact As the CFO, you will work closely with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to lead the finance function and support commercial and strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the company through its rapid growth phase and beyond. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and PE investor expectations. Investor Relations: Manage relationships with private equity investors, ensuring clear and transparent communication regarding financial performance and growth strategies. Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Mergers and Acquisitions: Lead and manage M&A activities, including target identification, due diligence, negotiation, and integration. Capital Structure Management: Optimise the capital structure, manage debt financing, and ensure adequate liquidity to support growth initiatives. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and financial health. Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor business performance and provide actionable insights to the SLT. Board Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the board of directors and PE investors. Strategic Initiatives: Support the CEO and SLT in evaluating and executing strategic initiatives, including market expansion, new product launches, and operational improvements. Governance and Compliance: Ensure robust corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and adherence to financial reporting standards. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous development. Why We're Excited About You Our ideal candidate is a commercially astute individual with a positive and driven attitude, ready to make a real difference. You'll likely be: A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with significant experience in a FD / CFO role within a Private Equity backed business. An effective and empathetic leader who can inspire and develop a finance team. Proficient in strategic financial planning and analysis, with strong commercial acumen. Experienced in PE environments, with a proven track record in fundraising, M&A, and investor relations. Experience working in marketing, technology, or agency sectors. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach when needed, but primarily focused on strategic financial leadership. Aligned with the company's values and passionate about its growth journey.
