CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER SURREY HYBRID WORKING MRG are instructed by a Property and Infrastructure Development Group to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO the role has full responsibility for delivering and reporting on the financial strategy for a group of companies. As a key member of the executive team the role, alongside the wider SLT, this position will shape the strategic direction of the Group leading the finance team to deliver business requirements. Responsibilities include: Develop and motivate staff and ensure co-operation and coordination across the finance team. Produce Group reporting and statutory filings and manage audit relationship. Cash management reporting. Produce and present meaningful analysis on performance to the business and key stakeholders. Deliver analysis of the business, based on financial performance and KPIs, to drive improvement, identifying and highlighting issues and contribute to business and debt-restructuring. Developing and implementing policies and procedures within Group guidelines to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the Company. Managing Group and external professional consultants and other key business partnerships Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and leading in the development and adoption of new systems and control procedures. Ensuring the Group meets all of its financial obligations. Ensuring the production of monthly reporting of financial accounts Attending monthly board meetings & regular board director engagement.
