Their offices are in London, Reykjavik and Warsaw.The Role We are seeking a visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) adept at driving product innovation and scaling businesses in emerging markets. The CPO will be instrumental in leading the product team, expanding their reach into new territories, and penetrating new verticals to foster business growth and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong product management background (currently in a product management leadership role), from a tech start-up/ scale-up, ideally within banking/ financial services sectorThe job requires a weekly presence in their Warsaw (Poland) office - 3 days a week.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with their vision, mission, and objectives, and is adaptable to the unique needs of emerging markets.Product Development: Lead the planning, development, and launch of innovative products that cater to diverse markets and verticals.Emerging Markets Expansion: Identify opportunities and strategize the entry and adaptation of products for emerging markets, ensuring they are tailored to meet specific regional needs.New Verticals Penetration: Explore, evaluate, and penetrate new verticals, aligning product development with the specific needs and trends of these markets.Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a product team that’s adept at innovating for diverse markets and customer segments.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to anticipate the trends and needs in emerging markets and new verticals.Collaboration: Foster partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders in new regions and industries to ensure product alignment and market fit.Requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services industryIn-depth knowledge of banking systems and technology, best practices and standards in technology and securityFamiliarity with SQL, Entity Framework, .NET, .NET CORE, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Azure/AWS/Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform/BicepsStrategic thinker with a track record of successfully implementing technology initiativesExcellent leadership and management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teamsExperience from a fast-paced tech start-up/ scale-upExperience in tech transformation especially in transforming On Prem to full blown cloud/SaaSStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsFluent English language, Polish nice to haveBenefits They offer a supportive work environment, opportunities for both personal and professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the fintech industry.
