Job Title: Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) Location: Europe (Remote/Hybrid) About Us: I am currently partnered with a Biotech Spin off who are at the forefront of revolutionising and innovating the pharmaceutical industry through the power of artificial intelligence! My client have the blue print for a healthy immune cells with a strong focus in Oncology. Their idea is to use their platform to irradicate the risks for their patients through the use of their technology. They re need of a entrepreneurial CSO who has a solid Digital background alongside being extremely sound with data and the understanding biomarkers and mechanisms, this role will report directly into the CEO. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the scientific strategy and research agenda aligned Oversee all aspects of drug discovery and development, from target identification to clinical trials. Lead and mentor a team of scientists, researchers, and data scientists. Drive the integration of AI and machine learning technologies in the research and development process. Foster a culture of innovation and scientific excellence within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, research organisations, and KOL s Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Represent the company at scientific conferences, industry events, and with regulatory bodies. Provide regular reports on research progress, milestones, and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors. Qualifications: Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Computational Biology). Minimum of 15 years of experience in Academia or pharmaceutical research and development, with a focus on AI-driven approaches. Proven track record of leading successful drug discovery and development projects. Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative research environment. Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions with regulatory agencies is a plus.
