CTO – Chief Technology Officer - £200K + Equity (up to £8 Million)About the businessHaving just secured huge investment, a leading SaaS business is looking to hire a CTO to join them to help achieve their 3-5 years business goals.The goal is to gain an exit in the next 3-5 years. With equity between £4-6 Million, but if this business fulfils its potential, then £8 Million is very achievable.About the roleAs the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead and drive the technology vision and roadmap. You will represent technology at board level and be responsible for overseeing the strategy, development and implementation of the SaaS solution. You will design and deliver a technology roadmap that aligns with company goals and objectives and lead the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions to drive business growth.You will grow the engineering, product & data teams.As CTO you will provide regular updates on technology initiatives, trends and progress toward strategic goals and objectives. You will own the technology budget.At a very high-level, what we need from you• An experience as a CTO in a fast-scaling business, who personally designed and delivered a technology roadmap (Not a no. 2 to CTO, programme manager or product director)• Strong Software Engineering background as an engineer (even if it was 10 years ago!)• Experience of working in a SaaS business• Experience recruiting and scaling tech teams, across EMEA and the US (Ideally)This is a great opportunity to put your stamp on a growing SaaS business.
