New Opportunity: Chief Technology Officer

A hugely up-and-coming client of mine is looking for a capable, committed and hungry candidate, ready to take on the management of technical teams in their SAS and Retail Software.
With growing international clients, and constant business evolution, this role will be responsible for maintaining swift, scalable and efficient output from developmental teams on the company's bespoke application.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Define and lead the company's technology vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and long-term growth goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring that products are developed efficiently, meet business requirements, and are delivered on time.
- Manage and optimize the output and performance of offshore development teams, ensuring alignment with company standards, timelines, and quality requirements.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and overall performance of the company's applications and technology infrastructure, implementing secure systems that support growing client needs.
Team Leadership & Development skills:
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering and development team, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the technology team.
- Project goals for hiring, training, and professional development for both end users and development teams.
Client Communication Skills:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, customer support) to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Act as a liaison between technology teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication of project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support sales and business development teams by providing technical expertise during client engagements and presentations.
- Support the in house team with providing informed pitches, client visits, the development of business goals and smooth implementation of product
The successful candidate must be a self-starter, confident and committed to their teams performance and business outcomes.
They will have excellent communication and professionalism, and MUST have relevant experience in Retail, Supply Chains or SAS to apply.
