As well as a wider Family and Matrimonial team, the firm has a flourishing Child Care team offering expertise in public care proceedings, abduction, adoption and fostering. A new opportunity has arisen for a specialist lawyer, who is experienced in advising and representing the child, guardians and local authorities in child care proceedings. This would be the lead role based in this Greater Manchester office with the support of a junior team and other peers in wider offices. The nature of the role requires not less than 8 yrs' PQE in this niche area. As well as strong technical skills, you will have excellent case management and organisational skills and enjoy mentoring and nurturing relationships with professional. Ideally, if practising in the region already, you will be known to social services team and trusted for an efficient yet thorough and vocational approach.
