Childcare Practitioner - Nursery in Newark-on-Trent

Location: Newark-on-Trent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Part-time available for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: £14.75 - £15 per hour

Simply Education is looking for a passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Newark-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner or an experienced early years professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality childcare and ensuring the safety and well-being of children
• Planning and implementing engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Encouraging children's development through structured play, social interaction, and learning experiences
• Building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a positive nursery environment
• Monitoring and recording children's progress to support their learning journey

Candidate Requirements:

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development best practices
• Passionate about early years education and child development
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• The ability to work full-time or part-time, depending on suitability
