You'll work closely with families to provide tailored support, helping safeguard and improve the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of children and families.
• Develop effective care plans that meet the individual needs of children.
• Use child protection legislation and best practices in safeguarding.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate case records and represent children's interests in court when necessary.
• Advocate for the well-being of children, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making.

Requirements:

• BA (Hons) in Social Work or an equivalent qualification.
• Registered with Social Work Wales (mandatory).
• Proven experience in kinship care, fostering, child protection, or a related area.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills for assessing and planning care.
