• Experienced Team Manager required to join Havering's Children's Assessment Service (aka R&A / D&A / Duty and Assessment / Children's Front Door Team)

Job Context: 1. The post holder reports to the Group Manager. 2. The post holder will have line management and supervision responsibility for Advanced SW Practitioners, Social Workers, ASYE Social Workers, and nonqualified staff. 3. The post holder will be required to occasionally work outside 'normal' office hours. 4. The post holder will have Financial/Resources responsibility for the team budget and will manage the departmental budget when the group manager is absent. 5. *Please note this vacancy is subject to the London Agency Worker Pledge Agreement which stipulates:-

• Permanently employed Social Workers are restricted from undertaking an agency role with a London Pledge Borough for a 6-month period following departure (if leaving perm role with London Authority, they cannot move to an agency role with another London Authority for 6 months)
• 3 weeks' notice period may be required (at discretion of manager/council)
• Agency workers must have complete 2 years post AYSE (3 years PQ total), before they can be considered for agency roles within London
