Main responsibilities:
Contribute to the provision of a safe, caring, and nurturing environment, where young people’s emotional, physical, cultural and health needs are met.
Contribute to Care Planning and Risk Assessments whilst encouraging young people’s participation.
Lead a support worker team; supporting with observing staff practice, supervisions, appraisals and team meetings.
Promote a culture of reflection, equality, diversity, and inclusivity throughout practice.
Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting any concerns without delay.
Work flexibly in the undertaking of other relevant duties which are not specifically outlined above.
Must Haves:
A minimum 1-years experience in a supervisory capacity supporting individuals in health and social care who experience neurodiversity, Autism, Behaviours that Challenge, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Ill health.
Diploma Level 4 in children, young people and families or equivalent.
Ofsted knowledge.
Driving License.
Must be able to speak English.
Nice to have but not essential:
Care Certificate.
DBS certificate.
