Children's SW - LAC & LC Team - Liverpool City Council

It is essential that all candidates are car drivers and have access to a vehicle.

We have opportunities for experienced (plus 3yrs pq) social workers across our services in our Permanence, Leaving Care Team

The candidate will be experienced in Children Looked After and Leaving Care, with some experience of working with UASC. Excellent engagement skills with young people is essential as well as key relationships with partners, pathway planning, good understanding of Housing, Education, Employment and Health to ensure the best possible services are provided to sustain a brighter future.

We have a stable, permanent team manager and service manager group, you will be supported in your practice by your manager and receive regular reflective supervision.
We have good range of support services in Liverpool including a Family Group Conference Service, family support workers within teams and an extensive Early Help Offer to support the children and families of our city and the work you do.
We offer
