Salary: £45,000–£60,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you a dedicated Children’s Home Registered Manager with experience in supporting young people with complex needs? We’re looking for an experienced leader to oversee 1-bedded homes in Lancaster and Skipton, supporting 16/17-year-olds facing emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference while leading a team in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead two 1-bedded homes in Lancaster and Skipton, providing leadership and direction as Children’s Home Registered Manager.


• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain high standards of care and support for young people.


• Work closely with external partners, including The Prince’s Trust, to open doors to opportunities for young people in your care.


• Support staff development, including mentoring those pursuing Level 5 qualifications.


• Manage on-call duties and collaborate with your Deputy Manager to ensure smooth operations across both homes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Children’s Home Registered Manager with a background in managing complex needs.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.


• Confidence in working with Ofsted and other regulatory bodies.


• Passion for supporting young people from challenging backgrounds.


• Ability to Commute between Lancaster and Skipton
