Our client, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer (Civil Marine) to join their dynamic team in the Humber region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of safe, efficient, and innovative engineering projects across ports in the region.





Position Overview



As a Project Engineer (Civil Marine), you will play a crucial role in ensuring engineering works are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You will manage a team of Contractors & Project Technicians, oversee project budgets, and provide technical leadership to drive the success of engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities




  • Manage engineering projects to ensure safety, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness

  • Oversee Project Technicians and provide technical leadership

  • Develop solutions for engineering challenges using innovative technologies

  • Prepare cost estimates and manage capital expenditure budgets

  • Produce tender documentation and administer contracts





Requirements




  • A background in Marine Engineering either onshore or offshore

  • Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction

  • Experience in H&S and Environmental aspects of engineering projects

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work flexibly

  • Excellent communication and team working abilities

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Chartered membership and NEBOSH construction certificate (desirable)
