Civil Engineering CAD Technician – Birmingham – £22,400 - £30,000

Our client is a UK-leading independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary built environment practice who due to busy workload and expansion are seeking a Civil Engineering CAD techniciian to join their team in Birmingham. 

The Successful Civil Engineering CAD Technicians  Role:

• Preparing drawings to support residential and commercial planning applications.


• Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.


• Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of residential sites.


• Liaising directly with clients when necessary.

Person Specification

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD


• Excellent presentation skills and drawing set-up


• Previous experience of civil engineering (particularly roads and drainage and within the residential sector).


• Proactive


• Self-motivated


• Able to work under pressure


• Adaptable to rapidly changing projects


• Proven ability to work well within teams and willingness to take accountability for own work. 


• Be able to liaise with clients in a professional manner.
