Civils Estimator

Seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team for a major infrastructure project. This role offers hybrid working arrangements and a competitive salary based on experience. You will be working under an NEC3 contract and reporting directly to the Senior Estimator. The position is with a Tier 1 civil contractor and is based in our Hertfordshire office.

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in developing cost estimates and managing project budgets. You will be involved in a major infrastructure project, working closely with the project team to ensure the accurate assessment of project value and construction details. Responsibilities for Estimator

• Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for civil infrastructure projects.
• Analyse project documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate cost projections.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine project scopes.
• Provide support for cost control and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize Primavera P6 to develop and manage project schedules.

Requirements for Estimator

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working as an Estimator on civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and project management.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC3 contracts and civil construction processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
