Site Manager- Civils background



We are currently representing a small Main Contractor based in London. They specialise in new build, renovations, refurbishments, temporary support, basements, as well as commercial works across London.



They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in Civils and groundwork. They need someone with residential project experience.





Qualifications & Experience




  • Experience:


    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager role, with a focus on civil engineering and residential construction.

    • Proven track record of managing projects between �1m - �10m in value.

    • Experience in managing projects in urban areas, ideally in central London or similar high-density locations.



  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and organisational skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple contractors and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.

    • Strong knowledge of civil engineering, groundworks, and residential construction techniques.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • In-depth understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.

    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.



  • Certifications:

    • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).

    • CSCS card.

    • First Aid at Work certification.

    • Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) certificate is desirable but not essential.







Salary- up to 60k depending on experience
