Civils Technician / Senior Technician

I am working with a well know civil engineering consultancy to recruit a civils technician / senior technician to join their growing team.� We are looking for candidates with detailed design experience, ideally on highways, drainage and infrastructure projects.� The company offer professional development to help you progress in your career.� You will be working as part of a collaborative team to support delivering projects for clients to the highest level.

The technician will need to prepare, review and issue design drawings.� You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication to build relationships with clients and colleagues.�

Requirements / responsibilities

• Technical and computing ability to produce horizontal and vertical highways design and civil engineering design using appropriate software including ideally Civil 3D, Site 3D, AutoTrack and MicroDrainage or Flow


• Experience of highway planning procedures, including Section 38 / 278 Agreements �


• Familiarity of drainage adoption procedures, including section 106/104, UK Design principles/best practice and standards including Sewers for Adoption and the SuDS Manual

The successful technician will be working on appraising site suitability, flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling, SuDS design and highways design. �
