About Us:
Randstad is collaborating with the CLA Team in Durham to recruit a skilled and compassionate Social Worker.

Job Description:
As a Social Worker within the CLA Team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people who are looked after by the local authority.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children and young people in care, ensuring their needs are met through comprehensive care planning.
Conduct regular assessments and reviews of care plans to ensure they are effective and aligned with the best interests of the child.
Work closely with foster carers, residential staff, and other professionals to provide a stable and nurturing environment for each child.
Advocate for the rights and needs of children looked after, ensuring their voices are heard and their wishes are considered in care planning.
Qualifications:
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Experience working with children and families, particularly within a CLA or similar team.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and regulations concerning children in care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
