This often requires engagement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, planning solutions, carrying out impact assessments, and developing new protocols and best practice guidance to support the change. The team is also responsible for ensuring that the claims procedure manuals, a day-to-day guides for the Claims function, and any associated process maps and template letters, remain up to date.The team is known for its strong and supportive culture, where every voice is valued and significant. Collaboration and teamwork are highly encouraged, and the team members work together and with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals. Find out what our staff say about working at NHS Resolution – visit our LinkedIn pageThe opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Improvement Manager to join the team on a 6 to 23 months fixed term / secondment contract with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent (subject to permanent roles being available).The position reports directly to the Service Improvement Team Leader while also being accountable to the Head of Performance Improvement and collaborates with a team of Senior Service Improvement Managers. The primary responsibilities of the role are to conduct research, devise plans, and execute new protocols and processes to enhance the overall efficiency of the Claims function. The post holder will contribute to the development of best practices and risk identification, while also providing support to mitigate any potential inefficiencies.Candidates should have demonstrable service improvement and change management experience. An understanding of working within a claims management environment and knowledge of clinical negligence and/or personal injury claims would be of benefit.
