Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 1 CONTAINER DRIVER to join our team based in Felixstowe
You will be required to carry out container deliveries utilising both Felixstowe and London Gateway and Southampton
Hence needing a Rhides and DP World card preferred
Duties: - Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement - Plan routes and follow delivery schedules - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and documentation
Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred - DCPC CARD - Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
