Class 1 Driver Heathrow

M4 Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV 1 Drivers for our client in Colnbrook. This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.

Shift & Duties:

• Hours: NIGHT SHIFT - START TIMES BETWEEN 1700 AND 000.


• Weekly Hours: 8 - 10 HOUR SHIFTS


• Shift Pattern: MONDAY TO SATURDAY

Competitive Pay Rates:

• Weekdays (08:00 - 19:00) – £17.89


• Weeknights (19:00 - 08:00) – £20.54


• Saturday Days (08:00 - 19:00) – £19.04


• Saturday Nights (19:00 - 08:00) – £21.69


• Overtime £26.64 after working 40 hours a week.


• Bank Holidays – £35.78

Key Responsibilities:

• Trunking Operations: Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.


• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.


• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.


• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.


• Communication: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.


• Professionalism: Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License


• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience


• No more than 6 points on license


• Clean DBS check


• Level D / Cargo Operative training (can be completed online)


• 5-year employment history for background verification
