Class 1 Driver in Telford

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers with a minimum of 6 months of experience for a well-established client based in Telford.

Job Description:

• Type of work: Refrigerated units RDC to RDC deliveries and collections (loading and unloading of palletized goods).
• Steady year-round work with consistent shifts.
• Long hours: 12+ hour shifts.
• Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights - shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Rates of Pay: PAYE.

• Monday to Friday:


• Days £15.50 / Nights £16.50
• with holiday pay including - Days £17.37 / Nights £18.49 per hour.


• Saturday:


• Days £18.50 / Nights £19.50
• with holiday pay including - Days £20.73 / Nights £21.85 per hour.


• Sunday:


• Days £19.50 / Nights £20.50
• with holiday pay including - Days £21.85 / Nights £22.97 per hour.

Additional Information:

• Assessment is required, lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Refrigerated unit driving experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
