Class 1 Driver Trunking
Location: Normanton
Shift times: Monday to Friday, start times from midday
Pay Rate: �12.91
*As this is a specialised contracted ADR is preferred but not essential*
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.
What you'll do on a typical day:
� Longer distance routes delivery to customer sites and branches.
� Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
� Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
� Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.
What you need to succeed with our client:
� HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), ADR is preferred but not essential
� No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
� A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
� Multidrop delivery experience.
� Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
� A can-do attitude.
