CLASS 1 DRIVER

Our client based in Telford are looking for HGV Class 1 day driver to join them on a temporary to permanent basis after a qualifying period.
Pay:
£16.25 p/h
Days of work:
Monday to Friday
Hours:
0400 – 0600 start times until finish
Duties include:
• Delivering products to various areas in the UK
• Daily vehicle, trailer, and driver checks
• Completing relevant paperwork
• 2-3 drops per day
• Could be in curtain or box trailer
Key skills:
• Must be reliable.
• Must have HGV Class 1 Licence experience of commercial driving – no more than 6 points
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph
• Attention to detail.
• Previous shunting experience desirable
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures in English
• Understanding of H&S Procedures.
• Ability to Communicate effectively in English with colleagues and Line Manager
