Current Opportunities:
4on 4off Day Class 1 Driver Salary is between £35,424pa - £40,485pa and MORE! depending on hours worked. Hours of work are circa 05:00hrs 14:00hrs, on a 4on 4off shift basis.
4on 4off Night Class 1 Driver Salary is between £38,937pa - £43,998pa and MORE! depending on hours worked. Hours of work are circa 18:00hrs 04:00hrs, on a 4on 4off shift basis.
The position of Class 1 Driver involves:
This will involve dropping refrigerated products in cages to retail stores in the Aberdeenshire area.
Loading and unloading of refrigerated vehicle with tail lifts, ensuring load security.
This position will also involve ad hoc oil and gas work using flatbed trailers when working a Sunday.
Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
Planning route on a day to day basis.
Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations.
Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills required for Class 1 Driver:
Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Experience of refrigerated trailers and tail lifts is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Working to deadlines.
Confident, polite and a team player.
Good geographical knowledge.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
