Class 1 Driver

We require HGV Class 1 drivers to carry out between 2 to 3 drops per day from Corby delivering to locations throughout the country. Drivers will be required to move cages and hanging garments to the rear of the trailer at each store. Empty cages and recycling will also be collected from each store. Must have 1 year licence and experience
Each driver will be required to pass an assessment prior to being given a full induction and training for the role. This will be split over 2 days.
The first day you will be required to do a written test with questions. You will also be given the chance to show them you can manoeuvre easily around the yard.
The second day will require you to go out on the road with a permanent Matalan driver.
Both of these days will be paid.
For successful candidates we will be able to provide regular work with start times between 04:00-06:00.
LONG SHIFTS between 12-15 hours with potential nights out.

45 MIN DEDUCTION FOR BREAKS
Pay rates as follows:
Any driver starting post 04:00 is nightrateall shift
Driver starting 04:00 onwards will be nightrateuntil 06:00 then dayratefor the rest of that shift
18:00 starts are nightrateall shift
