Class 1 Driver

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Lanarkshire. The job as a Class 1 Driver is trunking down south for a double manned run.
As a Class 1 Driver your working days and hours are:
Monday- Friday
18:00 start- finish
The rate of pay as a Class 1 Driver is:
£ p/h
The duties and responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver are:
Transport full loads to various locations within the central belt
Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition
Perform pre and post- shift vehicle inspections
Report any non-conformities or near misses to the line manager
Secure freight properly for transit
Adhere to all driver regulations and safety protocols
The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Driver would need:
Proven experience driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV)
Ability to meet delivery timelines efficiently
Respect and pride for maintaining the vehicle and equipment
Excellent customer service
Digital Tacho Card
Valid Driving Licence
Driver CPC Certification
Strong knowledge of driver regulations
Minimum 6 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
