Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Day Driver in Leeds needed for immediate start.

Salary: £15.50 per hour time £23.25 paid after 10 hours worked

About the role

As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver, you will be flexible to meet requirements of the business, have proven track record in a similar type of role for at least 1 year.

What you need to know:

• Start times: between 05.00 and 08.00 run location dependant
• Shift pattern: Monday - Friday
• Workload: General Haulage business, Some runs may involve handball, if so duties would be pulling furniture to the tailer doors to be offloaded into care homes. Most runs are trunking however If multidrop it would be max 3/4 drops.

What you must have:

• Must hold a valid Class 1 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must have experience driving a Class 1 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
• Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
• Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have an up to date CPC Qualification Card.
