CLASS 1 DRIVER

Class 1 Driver (Days, Nights & Weekends Required)
Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday Days £16.00 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights £18.00 per hour
Saturday £18.50 per hour
Sunday & Bank Holiday £19.50 per hour
Days: 03:00 - 07:00 starts
Nights: 16:00 - 19:00 starts

Be prepared for various shift lengths
Curtain side work
Comply with driving rules and laws
Ensure cab is well presented at all times
Be prepared to use a tail lift
Handball where required
Complete runs to depots and RDC's
Ensure your load is secured correctly
Essential Skills
Hold a valid UK C+E licence
Have at least 2 years experience driving C+E vehicles
No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes
Have an in date UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
Experience operating various trailer types
Data on your tacho card from the last 60 days
Good time keeping
Good communication skills
Positive 'Can do' attitude
Desirable Experience
Previous experience working on general haulage covering weekends.
What training is provided?
Written and driving assessments may be required for this role.
