Class 1 Drivers

Location: Redcar

Pay Rates:

\n

\n
• £13.40 p/h for first 8.5 hours
\n
• £15.63 p/h after 8.5 hours
\n
• Nights out £26.20
\n

What We're Looking For:

\n

We require Class 1 tanker drivers with previous experience loading/unloading using pumps and compressors (ideally with ADR). We are looking for drivers who are willing to tramp away

\n

There may be a requirement to cover container work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - drivers will need to have experience operating sliding chassis and operating in port terminals. There is potentially a requirement to night out on Tuesday night if on this pattern.

\n

Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:

\n

\n
• Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
\n
• Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
\n
• Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
\n

\n

What You Need as a Class 1 Driver:

\n

\n
• Valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence
\n
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Class 1 vehicles
\n
• Valid CPC & Digi cards
\n
• ADR would be desirable, but not essential
\n
• No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
\n
