Class 1 Night Driver

We are seeking permanent, full time shunter/trunk driverto join our Transport team based at our Warrington Hub.
Main Duties:
Moving vehicle on / off bay
Setting trailers up to be loaded
Completing vehicle walk around checks and recording any VOR fleet
Admin work e.g. printing drivers paperwork off for the later drivers & the very early morning start drivers
Ensure that all paperwork is completed clearly and submitted at the end of each shift.
Manage own time effectively
Support the driving team by preparing vehicles for the following morning
Perform Manual Handling in a safe manner to avoid harm.
Report all defects immediately to ensure the safe operation of all vehicles
Continuously exhibiting courteous and polite communication with all staff
Cover holidays & do trunking
About you:
You should be able to understand the Companys Health & Safety procedures delivered in English, and you should be diligent with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that everyone complies with the Companys Health & Safety policy at all times. You should possess a calm temperament, and be able to react calmly when things are not going according to plan. You need be passionate, driven and motivated to complete all tasks in the allotted timescales to the highest quality.
Required licences or certifications:
Full clean UK driving licence (or a maximum of 6 points). Ideally Class 1 Licence
The hours of work are 40 per week, over any 5 over 7 days (additional hours may be available), but a degree of flexibility is required.
