Class 1 Night Driver

Permanent contract - Are you a reliable and experienced Class 1 driver looking to join a friendly company with excellent rates of pay? Great! We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join the team here at Stanton Logistics in Luton supporting our large supermarket client.
We have a range of permanent employment opportunities for nights working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern doing store deliveries which involves loading and tipping the trailer from the distribution centre to stores - on average 2-3 stores per day. The role also involves reloading packaging waste back to the distribution centre. Start times 19:00 - 21:00
Please note we do not accept LTD drivers
Key Tasks
Daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects
Making on time deliveries to stores
Tipping using machinery (electric pallet trucks)
Reloading packaging waste back to the distribution centre
Ensuring that your vehicle is clean and fit for the next delivery
Attending site inductions and training
Ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront of everything you do resulting in safe driving and minimal/zero damage to vehicles
Compliance to company policies and procedures
Communicating progress, delays, and key information
