Class 1 Shunter Driver

Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver - Shunting.

DAYS OR NIGHTS POSITION AVAILABLE

Location: Lincoln

Salary: Days �14.75 per hour Flat. Nights �17.00 per hour flat.

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday - Day shifts 06:00 - 18:00, Nights shifts 18:00 to 06:00 -�both positions are Monday to Friday on going.

Job Type: Ongoing long term - 3 months work minimum�

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform shunting duties within the designated area.


• Ensure the safe and timely movement of vehicles.


• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.


• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.


• Maintain accurate records of work completed.

There will be 1 days paid induction for training on the role.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 HGV licence


• Strong understanding of safety regulations.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Personal transport


• Hi vis and safety boots.

Benefits:

• Day shifts Hourly rate of �14.75 flat.


• Night shifts �17.00


• Consistent 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday for days, and 18:00 - 06:00 for the position on nights.
