Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver- Belfast Days/Nights available

Bin Lorry Drivers Permanent / Full Time Hours: temporary with a view for temp to perm for the right candidates Location: Belfast Our Client is currently looking for HGV Drivers (C) to join their busy teams at our site in Belfast. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi-drop deliveries and collections throughout NI. The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required. Shift available - Morning (start time of 5.30am). You will work Monday to Friday, and Saturdays on a rota basis. Evening (start time of 3pm) Roles and Responsibilities Excellent customer service skills that support the Company Brand Ensure Health and Safety adherence at all times Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally) Following all regulations relating to driver's hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Undertake all necessary training, and cooperate with the security clearance process as required Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department Essential Criteria Must hold a valid HGV licence - Category 'C', Must hold a Digital Tachogragh card and Full Driver CPC Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points for insurance purposes) Ability to undertake manual work Flexible approach to working hours as weekends and Bank Holidays will be required Excellent customer service skills Team Player Good Communication skills (both verbal and written) Good Knowledge of driver's hours, rules, and regulations Desirable Criteria Minimum of one year's HGV driving experience Previous experience working in the waste industry * Any offer of employment will be subject to successful driving assessment* * *Must be able to provide documentation to confirm your eligibility to work in the UK* Competitive Hourly Rate - £15.17/hr (Day shift) Overtime rate of Time and a Half (£22.75/hr) £17.28/hr (Night shift) Overtime rate of time and one half (£25.92/hr) For hours worked over 45 hours Monday to Friday Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday - Time and a Half 28 days Annual leave (incl. of eight Customary/Bank Holidays) Company pension scheme Employee Uniform Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
