Class 2 Day or Night Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts:�Working 5 shifts out of 7 (weekends included). *Drivers must be able to accommodate for weekend work*

Hours:

- 1:30am starts

- 4:45am starts

- 08:00am starts

Pay Rate:��13.12 - �14.43 per hour

Location:�Plymouth, PL6

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

� Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.

� Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

� Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.

� Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

� Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.

� Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements:

� Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

� Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

� No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

� Full understanding of WTD legislation.

� Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.

� Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
