Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 driver ready to take on a new challenge? We're currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers, for our client in Warrington, performing store deliveries around the North West. This is a physical job (although not many drops), so will suit drivers who are looking for that type of work. The vehicles are all boxed, with tail lifts.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading logistics company as a HGV Class 2 driver, who take pride in looking after their drivers.

Due to an increase in volume, they need additional drivers to support their current team, with the client confirming this will be on-going work for the successful HGV Class 2 driver’s. The work is mainly Monday to Friday, but they do need the weekend shifts covering (reduced volumes), so drivers will need to offer availability for alternate Saturday’s, or Sundays. They would also consider putting someone on a continuous Tuesday to Saturday shift, if that suits.

You will need to firstly undertake a brief driving assessment, and then complete the company’s health and safety policy sign off’s. Once this is done, the client will support you in letting you go out with another driver, so you can learn the job from a real perspective. We have confirmed assessments next week

You also need to have 2 years HGV Class 2 driving experience on your licence, to cover the company’s insurance.

Job Details: HGV Class 2 Driver

Shift Times: Early birds, rejoice! Start your day between 4 am to 6 am.

Work Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. Flexibility is key!

Assignment Rates:

Monday to Friday Days (6am onwards): £17.85 per hour

Monday to Friday Earlies / Nights (before 6am): £21.85 per hour

Saturday / Sunday Days (6am onwards):£21.85 per hour

Saturday / Sunday Earlies / Nights (before 6am): £21.70 per hour
