Class 2 Driver

About Us:
We are a well-established logistics companies in Stoke on Trent offering reliable and efficient transport solutions across the UK. Due to expansion, we are looking for a skilled and dependable Class 2 General Haulage Driver to join our dynamic team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Safely operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for general haulage
- Transporting goods to various locations across the UK
- Ensuring timely deliveries and collections of a wide range of goods
- Loading and unloading vehicles when required (may involve manual handling)
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Complying with all road transport legislation, including tachograph regulations
What We're Looking For:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in general haulage preferred but not essential
- Excellent knowledge of UK road networks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
