Class 2 driver in Bradford needed.

Salary: Class 2 £15.00

Great, we have opportunities for experienced Class 2 drivers to join our Bradford based client. You will be delivering 12 drops max working from a tail lift, operating a pump truck or the load will be off loaded by customer. On occasions there may be elements of handball. You will also secure your load using ratchets and straps.

About the role

As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver for our client, you will:

• To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
• Driving Class 2 Vehicles.
• To check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
• To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.
• Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner.

What you need to know:

• Start times: between 06:00am and 08.00, plus overtime when necessary.
• Shift pattern: Monday - Friday.

What you must have:

• Must hold a valid Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must have experience driving a Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
• Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
• Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
