Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver in Barnsley needed for immediate start.

Salary: £14.50 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Class 2 flatbed driver to work at our Barnsley based client.

About the role

Our Barnsley based client are currently recruiting for a Class 2 flatbed driver to deliver safety barriers across the Yorkshire region. The driver will be loading their vehicle at site then delivering to customers ensuring appropriate paperwork is completed. As a Recruit A Driver, driver, you will be flexible to meet requirements of the business, have proven track record in a similar type of role for at least 1 year.

What you need to know:

• Start times: Usually between 07.00am
• Shift pattern: Monday - Friday with overtime available on Saturdays and Bank Holidays
• Workload: approx. 6 drops per day.

What you must have:

• Must hold a valid UK C license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must have experience driving a Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
• Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
• Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
• Must have the ability to carry out manual handling and loading
