Class 2 Drivers

Driver Hire Peterborough are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for our well known customer during their peak season (starting June to approximately end Decmber)

• Applicants must be physically fit as this job involves a lot of hard work and can be physically demanding.


• Also must have good communiction skills.

The Role:-

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Delivery and collection of goods in cages


• Loading/unloading vehicle

Duties will also include : -

• Unloading of the company vehicle on your return to the depot at the end of your days' delivery round


• Collection of lists and handing them into the service office, as required


• Recording of any delivery times/windows and securing signatures on delivery notes


• Day-to-day liaison with customers and the office


• Regular communication with the Transport Manager

Benefits:-

• 5 working days per week


• Start times around 06h00


• Minimum wage of �860 p.w. (PAYE Adv - Including holiday pay)


• on site parking

Role Requirements:-

• Cat C HGV Licence (Class 2)


• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card


• Experience with Tail Lifts (preferred)
