Key Responsibilities:
Safe and Timely Deliveries: Ensure the secure and punctual delivery of goods to various destinations, consistently maintaining reliability.
Load Management: Properly secure, handle, and transport loads, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, confirm orders with customers, and address any issues or discrepancies.
Documentation: Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork and submit it to the office promptly.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and necessary maintenance on the vehicle to keep it in optimal condition.
Compliance: Adhere strictly to road traffic regulations and company policies, ensuring safety and legal compliance at all times.
Requirements:
Class 2 Driving License: Must hold a valid UK Class 2 license with a clean driving record.
Experience: Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, particularly in the transport and logistics sector, is preferred.
Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with Wellingborough and surrounding areas is an advantage.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Physical Fitness: Capable of meeting the physical demands of loading and unloading goods.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work independently
