What You'll Be Doing
As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality building materials to local customers. Your duties will include:

• Vehicle Checks & Compliance: Carry out pre-shift vehicle checks, ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy, safe, and in full compliance with DVSA regulations
• Safe Loading & Unloading: Ensure all loads are properly secured and strapped before delivery, using your HIAB to safely unload materials at customer sites
• Multi-Drop Deliveries: Complete multiple deliveries per day across the local area, making sure that materials are delivered on time and in excellent condition
• Customer Service: You'll be the face of the company on the road, so delivering outstanding customer service is essential. Ensure every interaction is friendly, professional, and helpful, addressing customer needs promptly
• Record Keeping: Complete any necessary paperwork, delivery logs, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date

What You Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A valid Class 2 (C) driving license with proven HIAB experience
• Crane licence and experience
• A good understanding of multi-drop deliveries, preferably in the local area
• Experience in delivering building materials is highly desirable
• A strong customer service focus, as you'll be representing the company at every stop
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety and quality
