Due to our continued growth, we are seeking reliable and professional Class 2 Pallet Delivery Drivers to join our team.

Job Role

As a Class 2 Pallet Delivery Driver, your main responsibility will be to deliver pallets of goods to various customer locations. You will ensure timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all driving and safety regulations. This role requires effective time management, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Pallet Deliveries: Deliver pallets to multiple locations across the region, ensuring timely delivery and accurate offloading.

Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle (HGV) in compliance with road and transport laws.

Route Planning: Plan routes efficiently using navigation systems and delivery schedules to optimise time and fuel usage.

Daily Vehicle Checks: Conduct daily inspections and safety checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy, reporting any issues immediately.

Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional, and respectful service to all customers, handling any queries or concerns they may have.

Paperwork: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes, time sheets, and vehicle inspection reports.

Compliance: Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, driving hours, and tachograph rules.

Requirements

Class 2 (Category C) Licence: A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence is essential.

Driver CPC Qualification: Must have a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

Digital Tachograph Card: Required for compliance with driving regulations.

Previous Experience: Experience in a similar role involving multi-drop pallet deliveries is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Time Management: Strong organisational skills to meet delivery deadlines and manage workload efficiently.

Good Knowledge of Road Safety Regulations: A sound understanding of HGV driving laws and safety procedures.
