Mechanical Sweeper Driver & Streets Operative
Pay Rate: �13.14ph
Location: Salisbury, SP2 7NP
Adhoc to cover sick and holidays
Manpower are currently recruiting a Mechanical Sweeper Drivers for our client to work in Wiltshire.
Reporting to the Contract Manager locally, you will support the contract ensuring that the all streets and pavements are cleansed in line with our client's instructions. You will drive a mechanical road sweeper & carry out daily maintenance checks where you will report any issues to your Contract Manager. Working as part of a team of 2 and participate in the driving duties.
There will be some manual sweeping and digging out as required including carrying out manual sweeping where areas are not accessible for the sweeping machine, litter picking and collection of other materials as required.
The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.
To succeed, you will need:

• To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Hold a full valid Class 2 Driving License
• Have a minimum of 6 months driving experience in Class 2 Vehicle.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Have valid CPC
• Willingness to learn & open to training.
• Safety conscious mindset is key.
• Experience the industry is desirable
