Class I Day Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class I Driver to join our team. As a HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role within our company, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products.

Shifts are 5 out of 6 starting 04.00 -07.00 depending on route. No Sunday working, Saturday work shared so you will not work every Saturday. Minimum 48 hours per week. You will be required to complete a driving assessment and other assessments as required as part of the interview process. New vehicles.

Full training provided.

You may on occasion drive a Class II vehicle.

This is a temp to perm vacancy for the right person.

Duties:

- Delivery of goods using cages/dollies - 8-10 drops.

- Load and unload goods from the lorry using appropriate equipment

Skills:

- Valid Class I Licence with no more than 5 points

- Proven experience in a similar role is essential

- Excellent knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety procedures

- Strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries

- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of goods.

- Good communication skills
