Class One Drivers

More Recruitment is working closely with a client who are seeking skilled and dedicated Class 1 drivers. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting/collecting goods safety and efficiently. This role requires a strong commintment to safety and excellent driving skills.

Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.


• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.


• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.


• Adhere to all local traffic laws while driving,


• Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.

Experience

• You must have a UK licence with at least 1 years exerience driving a Class 1 in the UK.


• Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is preferred.


• Safety knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.


• Comprehensive knowledge of UK road laws.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Excellent English speaking and writing abilities.
